check out my girl!

It's the end of the first month of school and check Claire out. She still cries when I leave her in class, but check her out! She dictated the story to me. Insisted on the third sentence. I wrote the sentences out on kindergarten-lined paper and she copied them, diligently using her finger to space between words. She gets where a period goes. She's so stinkin' smart it floors me.

Yes the scan is horribly crooked. She obviously didn't get her smarts from me. ;)
