7 Random things about me:

1. I was one of the first three people waiting for OJ's famous slow-speed chase on the street at his Rockingham home. I have a whole roll of film from that day.

2. I don't like movies.

3. The entire left side of my body is a half-size bigger than my right.

4. I have a crush on Dirty Jobs Mike Rowe.

5. I went to Joe Blasco makeup school and graduated at the top of my class (of five) but never did a thing with it. (hi mom!)

6. Richard Moll is the only person ever able to correctly guess my ethnicity

7. Brussels sprouts are the only vegetable I won't eat

7. What was your first surgery? arthroscopy of left knee, Summer 1993
8. Who was your first grade teacher? Mrs. Dickson (and I just saw her last August!)
9. Where did you go on your first ride on an airplane? 3rd grade, to Connecticut
10. When you snuck out of your house for the first time, who was it with/for? by myself to sneak to a boy's house. In all fairness, my parents NEVER let me out. Ask anyone.
11. Who was your first best friend and are you still friends with them? Heather Thoemmes, but we're both grown up now and very different.
12. When was your first sleepover? I seem to remember it being Grace Lee's birthday party in sixth grade. We watched Sixteen Candles. It was a Very Big Deal.
13. Who is the first person you talk to in the morning? whoever needs something from me and wakes me up first
14. Whose wedding were you in the first time? my brother's first wedding, 1990-ish
15. What is the first thing you do in the morning? turn on the heater, get the girls up, let the dog out, turn the shower on, all within about 2 minutes
16. What was the first concert you ever went to? Oingo Boingo Halloween concert, 1991
17. First tattoo or piercing? Tattoo - October 1993
18. Who was your first crush? Raphael Vasquez, circa first grade
19. First kiss? Larry Miranda, summer before 7th or 8th grade

22. When was your first detention? senior year for excessive absences (ditching)

tagged, part deux

In all fairness, Frectis tagged me yesterday but it required WAY too much brainpower to think of six weird things about myself that no one really knows. I'm weird and y'all know it...what else is there to share? But I thought and thought and thought and took a really long nap to reflect on my answers today, so here they are.

1. I have the same dream, or variation thereof, every single night.
2. I am absolutely not squeamish about anything except worm infestation or clusters of insect egg sacs.
3. I swore I'd never run but I just bought my first pair of running shoes last week.
4. I only drink Bailey's Irish Cream in December.
5. I prefer writing longhand rather than typing and I don't hold my pencil correctly.
6. I am rarely bitten by mosquitoes.
