shame on me!

Has it really been almost 10 days since I've last posted? Geez what am I, depressed? Hardy-har-har. I have one word for y'all. Actually two.

Rent. Debacle.

My dad, the wonderful, supportive and loving man that he is, told us to pay the remaining half of this month's rent or be out by the 1st. Um no....the law doesn't quite work that way. And rather than being behind "several months" in the rent, we're actually current except for the remaining half. But no, we're supposed to pack up and get out. Sure, buddy. And the fact that our relationship would be forever broken if my parents were to do that is beyond their comprehension.

So yeah, that's what's been going on.
